Laboratory Information Management System Applied to Quality of Occupational Health Inspection Report

Laboratory information management system (LIMS) can be applied to the effectiveness control in each section of occupational health inspection. By analyzing its role in occupational health inspection, the improvement of LIMS functions, i.e. recording format, interface, automatic calculation, access authority, data transfer and effectiveness, and error statistics, was proposed so that report quality was ensured. In addition, regular internal audits were performed to enhance LIMS functions in the control and quantitative management of occupational health inspection reports.
