Inspirations of Sanitation and Epidemic Prevention Preparation after Rescue Actions in Wenchuan Earthquake and Yushu Earthquake

Analyzed the characteristics and difficulties of Sanitation and epidemic prevention arrangementduring the episodes of the Wenchuan earthquake and the Yushu earthquake and proposed proper preparations in peacetime should be criticalto the sanitation and epidemic prevention plan in similar events in the future. It suggested that 1) emending emergency reaction plan by regular drillings; 2) promoting rescue techniques by training; and 3) capability buildup of professional rescue teams via dedicated critical materials reservation.
