  • This article reviewed epidemic characteristics, economic burden, time off in work and epidemiologic research methods of occupational acute hand injury. The review showed obvious distribution differences of age, gender and occupation, and risk factors were multiple. As the result showed that indirect costs constituted a dominant part of overall costs, research methods were mainly descriptive studies and less analytical studies. The existing problems of current studies were analyzed here, and further research was proposed.
