Abstract
DNA damage induced by oxidative stress/lipid peroxidation may play an important role for driving normal cells to malignancy in the occurrence of human cancers. This review summarized the lipid peroxidation-induced DNA damage and its detection methods. DNA adducts could be applied as biomarkers of oxidative stress/lipid peroxidation in the study of the etiology and prevention of cancer.
