Recommendations for Developing Environmental and Occupational Medicine in China: 30th Anniversary of Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine

  • Rational strategies for developing environmental and occupational medicine are important for accelerating the great renaissance of the Chinese nation. In this paper, the author made eight recommendations on the development of environmental and occupational medicine in China from various aspects including sustainable development, attracting and retaining talents, developing new technology, deeply reforming the environmental and occupational medicine system, supporting innovative and interdisciplinary collaborations, encouraging overseas scholars to take part in environmental and occupational medicine capacity building in China, and strengthening collaboration between domestic and overseas societies of environmental and occupational medicine.
