Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is an epitome of economic globalization. In recent years, it generates a heated issue of whether an entrusting party should be jointly responsible for occupational hazards that occur in its OEM's entity. The paper presented the influences of economic globalization on occupational health and the hazards arising therefrom, described the concept of joint liability between OEM and its parent company, and discussed how to cope with these issues during economic globalization.
