Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the role of cooperation system in pursuing a new and more efficient occupation health supervision model.
Methods Surveys on the situation of occupational health in steel structure enterprises were conducted prior to and after the establishment and intervention of SSIC (steel structure industry cooperation) to compare the results and evaluate its role in the administration and management of occupation health in the enterprises.
Results The reports of occupational disease hazard projects, the detection rate of occupational disease hazard factors, and the number of employees receiving occupational health check-ups were increased obviously through the intervention of SSIC.
Conclusion Industry cooperation radically improves the administration and management of occupational health, enhances self-discipline in member enterprises, and supports the occupational health supervision system substantially.
