Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Job Content Questionnaire(JCQ) in the practice in building industry employees.
Methods There were 551 build industry employees investigated in this study used the JCQ.
Results The response rate was 95%. The internal consistency reliabilities(Cronbach's α)of the 5 dimensions ranged from 0.60 to 0.82. The factor analysis confirmed the construct validity for JCQ. In addition, the results of the correlation analysis were associated with poor physical health and poor mental health, respectively(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).
Conclusion The validity and reliability of JCQ were acceptable.
