Abstract:
Objective To analyze the reasons and features of the complaints about occupational health, and discuss its countermeasures.
Methods All complaints about occupational health in Shanghai from 2006-2010 were analyzed.
Results The number of complaints about occupational health was increased from 2006 through 2010, in which the requirement of occupational health examination and occupational disease diagnosis were most claimed, accounting for 63.0% and 16.1% of the total respectively. Verified and partly verified complaints took up 74.7% of the total.
Conclusion In view of the increasing number of complaints about occupational health, the health administration departments are required to improve their work ability and service quality and dispose complaints promptly and properly so as to guarantee the rights of workers.
