Abstract:
Air fine particulate matter(PM
2.5) pollution has become an important factor affecting human health, and increasing atenton has been paid to the health of multple systems. Studies on animals, general populaton, and occupatonal populaton have found that PM
2.5 signifcantly affects C-reactve protein levels by mechanisms including direct pro-inflammatory effect, indirect systemic response, and autonomic and epigenetic regulation of cytokines and inflammatory mediators. C-reactve protein, as a key indicator in the mechanism of PM
2.5 induced inflammatory response, can effectively reflect the inflammatory damage of respiratory system, circulatory system, and other systems. This paper reviewed the role of C-reactve protein in the effect of PM
2.5 on the health of various systems and its mechanism.
