Abstract:
This article introduced the history of good laboratory practice (GLP) in chemical test laboratories of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), reviewed the development of GLP laboratories since 2008, and combining with the inspection results and actual laboratory situation, systematically summarized the problems identified in previous GLP inspections, covering organization structure, quality assurance, standard operating procedures, archive management, technical ability appraisal, and site inspections. Based on a thorough analysis of existing problems, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed, such as improving technical system, providing publicity and training programs, strengthening human resource building and technical communication programs, and carrying out nation-wide cooperations, in order to promote and improve the overall level of GLP in MEP laboratories.
