Abstract: In our lives and work, tin and its inorganic compounds are the materials that we are often exposed to. There are very significant differences in the toxicity of different compounds of tin. This paper gave an overview of exposure chances, metabolic pathways, toxicities, and occupational exposure limits and reference values of tin and its inorganic compounds. The methods for detection of tin and its inorganic compounds were introduced as well.
