Research Progress on Effects of Radiofrequency Radiation on Central Nervous System

  • With the continuous development of modern science and technology, the probability of people exposing to radiofrequency (RF) radiation has increased substantially. Nervous system is particularly vulnerable to RF radiation hazards, which concerns many researchers. To provide reference for further study, the current paper summarized recent reports about the effects of RF radiation on human cognitive function, brain electrophysiology, cerebral blood flow, as well as on animal hippocampus and cognitive function.
