Investigation of the Bacterial Contamination of Computer Keyboard and Mouse in the Offce

  • 摘要: 目的 了解办公室计算机键盘及鼠标消毒前后的细菌污染状况。

    方法 2008 年 12 月对绍兴市疾病预防控制中心和卫生监督所办公室内 50台电脑键盘、鼠标表面进行消毒前后细菌分布情况及种类监测。

    结果 电脑键盘、鼠标表面消毒前菌落数分别为(68.96 & #177;27.04)、(68.16 & #177;21.02)cfu/cm2, 消毒后分别为(2.11 & #177;1.01)、(2.12& #177;1.08)cfu/cm2, 消毒前后差异有统计学意义(P < 0.01); 消毒前检出病原微生物有金黄色葡萄球菌 5份(10.0%)、大肠埃希菌 6份(12.0%)、沙门菌 1份(2.0%), 消毒后未检测到各类病原微生物(0%), 消毒前后差异有统计学意义(P < 0.01); 疾控中心的电脑键盘及鼠标表面的细菌检测阳性率为 65.2%、病原微生物检测阳性率为 39.1%(其中, 金黄色葡萄球菌 3份、大肠埃希菌 5份、沙门菌 1份), 均高于监督所的细菌检测阳性率 37.0%、病原微生物检测阳性率 11.1%(其中, 金黄色葡萄球菌 2份、大肠埃希菌 1份)。

    结论 办公室内使用的电脑键盘、鼠标表面存在不同程度污染, 消毒后污染状况明显改善。

     

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the bacterial contamination of computer keyboard and mouse in the office before and after sterilization.

    Methods Swab samples from the keyboard and mouse of 50 computers in the office of the CDC and Health Supervision Institute in Shaoxing were obtained before and after sterilization in December 2008. After cultured, counting of the bacterial colony and identification of the types of the bacteria were performed to compare the data before and after sterilization.

    Results The mean numbers of bacteria colony on the keyboard and mouse before and after sterilization were 68.96& #177;27.04, 68.16& #177;21.02 cfu/cm2 and 2.11& #177;1.01, 2.12& #177;1.08 cfu/cm2, separately(all P < 0.01). The examined bacteria included staphylococcus aureus(10.0%), escherichia coli(12.0%), salmonella(2.0%)before sterilization, and no pathogenic bacteria was found after sterilization(P < 0.01). In the offices of CDC Shaoxing, the positive rate of bacteria on keyboard and mouse was 65.2%, the examined bacteria included staphylococcus aureus(13.04%), escherichia coli(21.74%), and salmonella(4.35%); while the positive rate of bacteria in the Health Supervision Institute was 37.0%, the bacteria included staphylococcus aureus(7.41%)and escherichia coli(3.7%). The positive rate in the CDC was higher than that in the Health Supervision Institute.

    Conclusion The bacteria contamination of the computer keyboard and mouse in the offices is shown in different degree, and it is significantly improved after sterilization.
